Bri-Jae Scarbrough

Bri-Jae Scarbrough is a trailblazing Black African American woman whose life journey has been characterized by dedication to diversity and inclusion. Born and raised in the vibrant neighborhoods of Compton, Los Angeles, and San Diego, she embraces her cultural roots while also nurturing a passion for learning and making a positive impact in the world.

Her remarkable journey began when she joined the United States Air Force, which eventually brought her to the beautiful state of Utah. As an active-duty service member, she demonstrates unwavering commitment and dedication to her duties. But beyond her military responsibilities, she constantly seeks opportunities to uplift and empower others around her. Bri-Jae uses her voice as a powerful instrument for amplifying the importance of diversity and inclusion within the military.

She plays a pivotal role as a member of the Black and African American Employment Strategy Team, a barrier analysis working group, to increase the representation of musicians of color within the military, emphasizing the power of diverse voices in shaping the military’s cultural landscape.
