Anna studied at the University of Washington and attained a Bachelors of Science in Biology, now she serves as a healthcare professional with a passion for mental health education. She is deeply committed to teaching others about the impact of mental health, especially among those affected by suicide or with suicidal intentions. She tirelessly works towards solidifying relationships within immigrant families who have faced these challenges, fostering understanding and support. Anna achieves this through social media, as a partner of crisis connections, a peer support helpline she spends most of her week providing emotional support to people across the country seeking assistance.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Anna finds solace and joy as a DJ, using music as a form of expression and connection. If Anna wins Miss Kenya USA, she envisions using the platform to educate communities on how to support individuals to prevent the anguish that can lead to suicide. Through advocacy, awareness, and proactive measures, she aims to encourage a brighter and healthier future for all.
